Unfortunately this one disappointed me. I like the SWY line/DNA a lot, and I really love cherry (when done well) and think it’s one of the more underrated & underutilized notes in perfumery. But the cherry note in this is chopped. It’s wonderful for about 2 or 3 minutes, a natural, realistic cherry with some orange & lavender, honestly heavenly. But at about the 5 minute mark, all of the pleasant facets of the cherry disappear. Instead of the note just fading, everything good about it fades but in its wake it leaves this grotesque syrupy-medicinal cherry that oozes all over the rest of the composition, turning all of it (even the familiar DNA with spices & chestnut as it dries down) on its head. Every note, every whiff is ruined by this ungodly cherry cough syrup, and at no point did the “cherry funk” ever fade 😞

Doesn’t perform as well as STW intensely or Parfum. The cherry is nice, but it only lasted 2 hours or so.
